How to check your shop is ready for AI shopping

A check you can do yourself: first the store, then your products, then your public pages.

1. The store

2. Your products

For each product you want shoppers to find: status Active, published to the Online Store (or Headless or Hydrogen) channel, not hidden from search engines, and with a title, an image, a price above zero and a web address. In the Products list you can filter by status and by sales channel to find the ones that are not.

3. Your public pages

The free shop check does this third step for you, from your public pages only.

Shopify's own pages

Plain-English help from GAIP, based on Shopify's published pages linked below. Shopify changes its rules; its own pages are the authority. Not advice, and no AI service publishes which shops it shows, so nobody can promise placement.

Check your shop for free

The free shop check works today on any shop: it reads your public pages and shows whether your store policies, product details and AI search tool access look right, with the time it checked. Check your shop.
